Gifts for runners made by a runner

I have become a big fan of Etsy this year. I started searching for jewelry for runners and came across Jessica's Gifts. Jessica has an array of amazing necklaces that are made from sterling silver that are tailored to runners. She knows what runners like as she is a runner herself. This past weekend she competed in the Key West Half Marathon and got a PR according to her Etsy store site: http://www.etsy.com/people/JessicasGifts.

I ended up buying the Personalized Locket - Sterling Silver (size extra small):

As I have been out of the racing circuit for a few years now so I didn't have a particular race that I wanted inscribed. I sent Jessica an e-mail and asked if I could get "Run Like A Mother" on the outside of the locket and "Go Big Or Go Home" on the inside of the locket. She said yes and gave me my price. I was very impressed with her reasonable prices for such a custom item. She quickly sent me a specialized listing for the locket. I received my item quickly and it was packaged well. When I got the necklace it was everything I hoped it would be and more. If you are looking for a fun remembrance of a special race/time for the runner in your life, you definitely need to check out Jessica's Gifts.

  11. Nice to find another minimalist runner out there! That necklace is darling! I just finished reading that book. I have to say it's so inspirational to see him come back from such devastating accidents. I agree that it was a really good book!

  12. Thanks for the follow. I am now following you. Do you know alot of other barefoot/minimalist runners? I only know one other person that does this in Ohio. I don't think this concept has quite caught on here.
