Best iPhone Apps for Kids

If you have kids you know that they are learning how to use technology (phones, computers, etc.) at a younger age. My boys love using my iPhone!I like to try and download fun apps for them to play with.

Below are 5 of my kids favorite apps:

5.) Monkey Preschool Lunchbox

This app helps children learn colors, counting, matching and distinguishing items that are different (large/small). It keeps going so there is no stopping to get your child frustrated. I like the fun music and monkey sounds. My two year old would play this for hours if we let him.

4. & 3.) The Lorax & Horton Hears a Who by Dr. Seuss
Your child can enjoy Dr. Seuss on your iPhone or iPad. There is also a function on both apps that can that be set so they can read the book themselves with/without any narration. My kids like the fun music and special effects in both books.

2.) Angry Birds Rio
Mind you this app is not highly educational but my children love it because of the tie in with the movie Rio.

1.) Disney Cars 2 Puzzle Book-Lightning was Here
Both of my boys are obsessed with the movie Cars and Cars 2. I like this app because like Dr. Seuss apps it is a book. This app can be set with/without narration. The coolest part of the app is that within each page the children need to find a decal to put on Lightning at the end of the story.
