Meet the new cast members of the Real Housewives of New York

As many of you know I am a huge fan of the Real Housewives series on Bravo TV. I am super excited the New York ladies are back or at least some of the gals are back for season 5.

Late last year, it came out that Bravo fired Jill Zarin, Alex McCord and Kelly Bensimon. I was shocked! Season 4 was probably one of the most drama filled I have seen in a long time. Think spin off of the movie Mean Girls.

Fast forward to 2012 and meet the new cast members:

Heather Thomson

Here's the skinny on Thomson. She's a fashion gal and the creator of the shapewear line "Yummie by Heather Thomson". She's worked with some of the top names in Hollywood including P-Diddy. She was the founding design director for his Sean John clothing line.

She's young and pretty and makes a ton of money. I look for her and Ramona singer to butt heads.Ramona doesn't like people that are more successful than she is.

Carole Radziwill

Radziwill is a best selling author and journalist. So exciting to have a journalist on the show! At a 18 she was rubbing elbows with the likes of Peter Jennings. She stayed with ABC a while and won a ton of awards for her work there. In 2003 left ABC and wrote the best selling book:  What Remains.

From the show promos they are dubbing her as the flirt of the cast. Based on that I see her and my favorite Sonja Morgan butting heads competing for the attention of men that may come their way.

Aviva Drescher

Drescher is the cousin of Fran (insert nasal laugh here) Drescher from the tv series, "The Nanny." At the age of 6 she was involved in a farm accident in which she had to have her left leg amputated. As if strength of character is not enough, she is a a smart lady! She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar, Masters Degree from New York University and a Doctorate Degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. 

Instead of practicing law she is at home taking care of her 4 kids. She feels it is very important to teach her children about helping others. She is the National Spokesperson for One Step Ahead, also an Advisory Board Member of Cancer Schmancer/ Trash Cancer. 

She seems to be one that doesn't hold anything back. I look for her and Ramona to collide as she is the queen of not holding back.
