Getting back in the swing...

Today was a big deal for me, first run since blister gate 2010. Things went pretty good for my first time on the road in a while. I applied my new favorite running aid-Band Aid Blister Block Stick to the bottom of my feet, then my Vibram Five Finger KSO's and I was off. I went flying down the road and a couple blocks. My form was good and I was feeling great. Then a few more blocks went by and I suddenly remembered the fact that I haven't run in a few weeks. I was about half tempted to stop. Getting on the main road where the terrain was half grass and half sidewalk did help my motivation. It was fun to go stomping through the leaves! The only downer about that was when I was running in the grass, I noticed some moisture for the first time in the bottom of my KSO's. Not a fan of this but I will figure this out! I was somehow able to keep my slower pace and form to make it home with no walking. YES! My mission for this week is to increase my stamina and run three days. I also need to figure out how to properly clean my KSO's as they are due for a bath.
