The highlights of the event for my family were the Step2 Play Zone. The good folks at Step2 brought all the latest and greatest in toys and outdoor products for children with them. They had a blocked off a padded space in the middle of the event where kids could play.
Our youngest also had a great time on the slide...
while our oldest loved the cars.
The other highlight of the event for us was getting to visit with the mascot of the HOTTEST team in baseball, the Cleveland Indians own Slider! Our oldest LOVED loved this and was super excited to get a big hug from him.
I also liked learning about other businesses geared for kids in the greater Cleveland Community. In particular this was the first time I had heard about the Cleveland School of Rock. This group offers music lessons for children with a cool twist. They also have a final performance at the end of each session that takes place at a popular local music venue.
The only negative for me was by the time we got there a number of the non-school related businesses had left. Overall, for a first time event I was pleased with what I saw. I hope this event will take place next year and look forward to what is in store for 2012.
Cute blog and it appeared like a great event for the kids. That stuffed mascot looks like Barney:) It's great to see more events like these for families. Fellow follower from Bloggy Moms. Hope you can come by & follow my blog at: http://spanishforkids-jbplbarbara.blogspot.com
