Here are my favorite things from this week:
1.) The Cleveland Indians
We had such an awesome time at Progressive Field on Father's Day! It was a fun family day out. I am also proud to say the Tribe is still playing awesome and is in first place!
2.) Girls with Sole
This awesome not-for-profit charity is hosting the third annual Wine for the Sole Event on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Shoreby Club. Check out their website for more info on how to purchase tickets:

Also, do you have any new shoes or sports bras laying around that you haven't used? Consider donating them to Girls with Sole. The program is currently expanding at a rapid rate and needs running bras and shoes for the participants:
Executive Director and Founder Liz Ferro talked about their current needs: "Our programs are expanding and so is the number of girls in need. It is a challenge to provide them all with the shoes and bras that they need to safely and comfortably Lace Up for a Lifetime of Achievement!
We are running a call for help with donations of any brand of (brand new) Women's Running Shoes sizes 7, 8, 8.5 and 9 and/or Jog Bras sizes S, M and L The drive will be from June 16th until July 1st." If you don't have a bra or shoes to donate but would like to donate money you can do so on their website:

3.) Govenor John Kasich makes Dallas Mavericks honorary Ohioans
I just found out about this within the past week even though it is an older story. I don't agree with most of Governor Kasich's politics however I think for once he did a good thing! Check out the article from USA Today:
