What I did on my summer vacation and GIVEAWAY

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the unexpected blogging hiatus. Don't worry, I'm back now! Our family enjoyed a staycation in the beautiful city of Cleveland Ohio!

We took day trips with the boys to the Cleveland Children's Museum, and Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

The Cleveland Children's Museum was awesome as always! My boys spent a lot of time at the Splish Splash exhibit (aka the water table).

This time we had both boys put on the raincoats that are provided before they started playing. However, the rain coat didn't help our little man. He got water everywhere! By the time both boys were done at that exhibit the little man looked like he just got out of the bathtub!

Our family also enjoyed the museum's newest exhibit: Blast Off! Here is a little about the exhibit courtesy of the Children's Museum Website, "Blast Off!, developed in collaboration with experts from NASA’s Glenn Research Center, is designed to allow young children to pretend, play, and explore space in a fun and creative atmosphere. By encouraging family participation and incorporating hands-on family learning in an interactive environment, the whole family can let their imaginations soar! At the same time, young children will build essential developmental skills as well as learn something about math, science, language literacy and even the arts (based on Ohio education standards), and how it all interrelates."

Our next trip was to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. I had been there a couple of times before in college with the Dowling Mentor Program but hadn't been there with my family before. I was thoroughly impressed with all of the changes that have gone on there.

The boys loved the Little Builders exhibit.

This highly interactive exhibit gave them a chance to pretend they were construction workers and be big! The boys loved pretending to be construction workers. The thought it was funny to try and pull each other on the mock conveyor belt! Our family also all enjoyed the exhibit that featured Ohio animals.

What have you done on your summer break or do you still have a vacation planned?
I had my Eucerin Everyday Protection lotion on during all the car trips. It gave me just enough protection and helped moisturize my skin without being too greasy.

Eucerin is giving me a prize pack to give away to one lucky reader. Want to win it? Here's what you need to do:
1.) Be a follower of my blog-(+1 entry)
2.) Go to: http://www.eucerinus.com/skin-wisdom/pledge/ and sign the Skin First Pledge and tell me you did so (+1 entry)
3.) Post this give away on your blog, Twitter or Facebook page (+1 entry for each category completed).
