New mom and Cleveland radio rockstar Jen Toohey to switch stations Tuesday

Q104 is my favorite radio station in Cleveland. I LOVE their morning show. The morning team makes the drive to work so entertaining and fun. What I also appreciate about Q104 is that their DJ's are actually residents of the greater Cleveland area. Unlike other stations that get their program feeds pretaped from DJ's residing in New York City or the West Coast. They fake listeners out that they are live and local but they are far from it.

Late last week Allan Fee announced the awesome Jen Toohey was not going to be coming back to the Q104 morning show. Then Fee went onto explain CBS was doing some corporate restructuring and Q104's sister station 102.1 had an opening on their morning show due to the departure of Terry Moir. Moir announced last week she was leaving the show to spend more time with her kids. Fee made some references that this position would allow Toohey more time to spend with her son who was born fall of last year.

Kudos to Toohey if this move has allowed her to spend more time with her son. Gosh wouldn't we all love to have that opportunity?!

The Trapper & Toohey show debuts tomorrow at 5 a.m. on 102.1.
