Think Happy Stuff in 2012

I first learned about the Think Happy Stuff company from the Running Diva Mom Blog. If you haven't read RDM's blog, you need to go check it out. She is one cool chick!

I went to the Think Happy Stuff website and their products called to me like Running Diva Mom said they did to her. One of my New Year's Resolutions is to be more positive in 2012 no matter what life throws at me.

Think Happy Stuff was founded by Christine Fekete. Read her amazing bio here

Cool stuff huh? I went on the site and bought a mug and her book, Change your thinking.Change your World.  I've found the book is good food for thought to help get my day started off right.

As if that's not enough, Fekete donates a portion of the proceeds from the sales of her products to three charities: Barefoot Republic Camp, Blood: Water Mission and Compassion.

Barefoot Republic Camp, "seeks to honor God and share the good news of Christ’s reconciling love with the world. We are “inter-denominational”, looking to the Bible as our source for teaching; and addressing the basics of the Christian faith that will positively impact students from all backgrounds."

Blood:Water Mission," is a grassroots organization that empowers communities to work together against the HIV/AIDS and water crises in Africa." They have some awesome projects that help everyday people make a major impact like 2 Weeks of Sacrifice. This project involves people just drinking tap water for 2 weeks and donating money that you would have spent on coffee/soda.

Compassion International is a "Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.Founded by the Rev. Everett Swanson in 1952, Compassion began providing Korean War orphans with food, shelter, education and health care, as well as Christian training. Today, Compassion helps more than 1.2 million children in 26 countries."
