Favorite things Friday

I thought I would try something new and post my favorite things.

Favorite thing #1-The wine glass throw heard round the world.

I love the Real Housewives shows on Bravo. Every single season is so much fun! My two favorite shows are New Jersey and Orange County.

Sunday, at the season finale Tamra Barney finally had enough of  Jeana Keough running her mouth to the press saying things that were not true. She confronted Jeana at the wrap party and it did not go well. Jeana denied everything. Tamra threw her cease and assist letter at Jeana and then the craziness started. Jeana threatened to throw her in the pool.  More words were exchanged and it ended with Tamra throwing her wine at Jeana. Then Jeana tried to throw it back but ended up hitting one of Alexis's friends who in turn came over and pushed former cast member Quinn Fry.

Favorite thing #2-The Primal Barefoot Alliance is sponsoring an event this Saturday.

I love being barefoot. The benefits to your body are numerous. You use more muscles in your feet when you go barefoot. Your calf's and legs get stronger when you go barefoot. You get more connected with the earth when you go barefoot. For me running barefoot and with my Vibrams I have no pain when I run. If you aren't familiar with the Primal Barefoot Alliance be sure to check out their web page here.
Favorite thing #3-

Next weekend our family is hosting a lemonade stand to benefit the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
This group was founded by Alex Scott. This beautiful little girl was battling Cancer and thought of the idea to make herself feel better by helping other people. She worked with her family to have a lemonade stand and donated all the proceeds to pediatric cancer research. Her dream was to take this program national and empower children to help other kids battling Cancer. Her parents carried on that dream and now other people across the country are helping in the fight to battle pediatric Cancer.

We are trying to show our boys how important it is to help other people. Even little people can make a big difference! We got our fundraising kit Tuesday. It is awesome! It has everything we could think of and more to help make this a successful event next weekend.
